Our Story

It started personal. CEO and Founder, Jasmine Sorensen’s belief in plant medicine blossomed from her own holistic health journey, feeling left in the dark trying to find healing in the conventional world.

It began with a lifestyle change, a big switch to natural living that opened Sorensen’s eyes to an entirely different world. One of which humans can rebuild in the equal but opposite way that they have destroyed. From her newfound lifestyle and disappointment in the amount of harmful, known cancer-causing toxins found in mainstream retailers, she began by creating formulas in efforts to detox her outer body, reduce Inflammation and return to normal PH. Not only did it work, but it caught wind & shortly after "selling for fun" on social media to friends, it quickly became the whole community. Shortly after, In August 2021, Yin Botanicals was born.

The Sanskrit word "Yin" refers to “the Introspective, Divine Feminine energy found within all of us.” A Divine Feminine herself, Jasmine is passionate about helping other women feel beautiful and confident In their own skin. True confidence radiates and Inevitably uplifts and releases ones higher self or Divine Feminine energy. Which to us, Is really all that matters.
